This status allows us to offer extended guarantees of up to 10 years on top of the line boilers.
Below, we’ve provided some information on the different types of boiler installation which we carry out. Which type of boiler will best suit your needs depends on a number of factors, namely: the size of your property, how many bathrooms it has, everyday usage, the space you have available in your attic and the existing infrastructure in your property.
If the information below doesn’t make it immediately obvious which type of boiler installation you should be opting for, don’t hesitate to get in contact with us. Our friendly team of consummate professionals pride themselves on offering helpful advice at every juncture, to ensure you get the perfect boiler. Despite our commitment to quality products and fantastic customer service, know that our prices are extremely competitive.
Short for combination boiler, a combi is both a highly efficient water heater and a central heating boiler squeezed into one compact unit. As they heat water straight from the mains whenever you go to use a tap or appliance, you won’t need a hot water or cold water storage tank. These are the most common/popular boiler installations, and are ideal for smaller properties , like many in and around Balham, Battersea, Clapham and Dulwich which do not have much loft space. Other benefits include fantastic cost-efficiency and usually being a cheaper boiler installation than competing types.
System boilers do require a hot water storage cylinder, but still feature most of their main heating components within the boiler unit itself. This makes system boiler installation a bit easier (and cheaper) than a regular boiler installation. One advantage of system boilers is that they can provide a constant supply of hot water to multiple taps being used consecutively, which comi boilers can struggle with. This makes them ideal for slightly larger homes with more than one bathroom.
We only recommend regular boiler installation if your property already features the required infrastructure, as they require both hot water and cold water storage tanks, which take up a fair bit of space. However, as they deal so well with high demand, they can prove ideal for very large homes around Balham, Battersea, Clapham and Dulwich which feature three plus bathrooms. They’re also a good solution if the area in which you live has very low water pressure.
Perhaps the best-known boiler manufacturer, Worcester Bosch is a bona fide household name. Their products are known for being highly reliable and energy efficient. With a 5/5 “Excellent” rating over 7,145 Trustpilot ratings.
This manufacturer boasts of its first-class German engineering, and backs it up with quality boilers which come with 10-year guarantees as standard. The most recent range is the ecoTEC collection, which are incredibly energy efficient and can incorporate renewable heating solutions.
A British award-winning manufacturer with a reputation for reliability. Baxi has a full range of boilers that cover all the aforementioned categories, at different price points.
Another UK manufacturer, Potterton works with the latest technology to make innovative boilers which are efficient and environmentally friendly to use. They place a big emphasis on ease of use, and are good all-rounders.
In addition to installing all of the above boilers for homeowners in and around Balham, Battersea, Clapham and Dulwich – we can carry out commercial boiler installation for London companies. For more about our commercial gas services, navigate to this area’s dedicated page.
